The Magrath Stake Campground

The Magrath Stake Campground is a 20 acre site located just east of the town limits of Magrath, Alberta on the beautiful Pothole Creek valley (only 1 mile from downtown Magrath). The camping/recreational site includes approximately 7 acres of developed property.

Facilities include:

• large pavilion (3200 sq ft) with fridges, stoves and washrooms
• separate camp kitchen (1200 sq ft)
• six stall shower house and washroom facility
• one hundred seat amphitheater and stage
• cooking and drinking water and electricity service
• large seven acre grassed area with underground sprinkling
• over 200 newly planted evergreen and deciduous trees
• eight trailer pads (one serviced)
• approximately twelve acres of open natural grass area adjacent to developed area
• ample tenting space
• twelve fire pits

Magrath is located 35 kilometers (22 miles) south of Lethbridge, Alberta on Highway 5. It is about 30 minutes east of Cardston, Alberta (and the Cardston Alberta Temple) and about one hour east of the Town of Waterton. Click on Maps for instructions on how to find us.
