| A zookeeper approaches three boys standing near the lions' cage and asks them their names and what they're up to. The first boy says, "My name's Tommy and I was trying to feed peanuts to the lions." The second boy says, "My name's Billy and I was trying to feed peanuts to the lions." The third boy says, "My name is Peanuts."

The Magrath Lions Club is sponsoring a Remembrance Day Speech Contest Friday Nov 7th for Magrath Elementary, Jr/Sr High School Students in four categories: Grade 1-3, Grade 4-6, Grade 7-9, and Grade 10-12. Entrants are encouraged to get help in researching and preparing their speech from parents or other adults. The topic should be one appropriate to give on the Town Remembrance Day Program on Tuesday Nov 11, 2008. Winners will receive a trophy and cash award presented by the Lions Club.
