Local Hutterite Colonies

E-mail Print PDF

We are neighbors to several Hutterite Colonies in proximity to Magrath:

Like all good neighbors, we do business together and help each other. While on the fire department I soon realized just how quick a water tanker or extra manpower can be conjured up in an emergency. As a Lions Club member we appreciate the donations of materials for our annual Pancake Breakfast (Rockport Flour Mill 'Coyote Howling Success' Pancake Mix, and fresh eggs from many other local colonies). You may purchase potatoes, or strawberries, or peas from them as well. My good wife and many others work at the colonies as teachers and aides. So, get to know your neighbors.

Action begins April 21 for league games for the older leagues while the younger teams will begin the week after.
