Update:  Most of the individual entries got a '1st' in freestyle and duet performances. The team entry got a high '2nd' place. An excellent result for their first year in this new category. Congratulations to all. You may have caught their encore performance on the 15th of Apr here in Magrath as well.

Archive: Ms Jennifer Sabey is taking her group of cloggers to the www.americaonstage.org/Competitions/KOC/Poc/kocpochome.htm in Pocatello, Idaho at the end of spring break in mid April.

They will be performing April 9-10, 2010 at the KOC Kick Off Classic Pocatello held at the Stephens Performing Arts Center of the Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. The Idaho State Championships at Pocatello is sponsored by America On Stage and features all levels of dance (Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Clogging, and Power Tap Events from Beginning through Professional (Pro). Good luck to all.

Magrath Mavericks won the Major Little League Championship for the South Chief League Wednesday night. The finished the regular league season and playoffs with a perfect 10-0 record. In the final they beat Raymond 4-1 for the title. Dawson Strate was the winning pitcher going 6 innings, striking out six and limited Raymond to five hits. Strate aided his cause going 2-2 at the plate with a double and an RBI. Tim McMahon also had two singles for the winners. Carter Witbeck had a solid pitching performance for Raymond striking out five over 4 2/3 innings. He also had two of Raymond's hits. Overall this season Magrath was 20-5 as they went to three tournaments. Magrath, Raymond and Cardston join forces for all-star baseball for South Chief.
