Don't forget to VOTE today! Polling station is at the Magrath Seniors Center just north of the Library and SASH Pizza Kitchen. They are open from 10am-8pm today (Mon 15th Oct 2007).
p.s. my daughter predicts that the winner will be the one with the biggest signs. We shall see.

Update: Westwind News reports that a Town of Magrath Candidates Forum will be held Thu 4 Oct 2007 at the Tom Karren Gym at 7:30pm!

Nominations closed yesterday at noon for the upcoming election. The list of candidates include the following names (in order provided by town - alphabetic by last name):

Ken Jensen is running for mayor again. Ron Strate has been on town council for several years now and is running for mayor this year. DeVar Dahl is also an experienced town council member and is re-running. All the rest are newcomers to our town politics. We wish them all the best. It looks like it will be a good race this time.
